Have you ever met someone who loved working in local government? Now you have! I’ve always been lit up by driving impact at the local level and transforming communities through large scale development projects.

I founded TPM Connect to work as a trusted advisor to small and mid-sized communities and businesses. I use my extensive expertise in nonprofit and government to imagine and implement viable initiatives with lasting impact.

What does this mean? It means I have a deep understanding of bureaucratic challenges. Paired with my uniquely lively approach, I’m both strategic partner and super connector — providing a framework to promote listening and collaboration. By pulling the right levers and bringing together people with the knowledge and the know-how, I transform your ideas into actionable, sustainable and impactful community wide projects.

There’s something about operations and being in the trenches that allowed me to thrive. I fell in love with city planning and government during my first internship with the city of Denver. From there I became the Assistant Budget Director for the City of Norwalk and then Administrative Services Manager and finally Director of Transportation, Parking and Mobility.

Some of my proudest moments as a municipal official and appointee were when I:

●      Transformed and re-imagined parking in the city of Norwalk by building a Municipal Enterprise Organization from the ground up, which played a major role in the economic and community development vision.

●      Oversaw millions in operating budget and led a multidisciplinary team to champion connected, safe mobility for all transportation users.

●      Launched the Art in Public Places Program to install art on public transportation and real estate assets.

●      Championed early adoption of environmental resilience projects and renewable energy program options including EV chargers, EV maintenance vehicles, LED lighting and green infrastructure improvements and residential solar options.

●      Developed townwide sustainability plan including

  • Developed plan for open space connectivity protecting biodiversity, managing noninvasive species, created walking and biking trail plans

  • Transformed  mobility access and safety measures using data collected from pedestrian and bike audits

I love forging and fostering private and public partnerships, connecting all the dots and managing the process. Clients say I'm their go-to problem solver, developing viable solutions even when there don’t seem to be any.
